PrintBreaking news at this hour: This October 11th, Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv will be coming to the Garden to take on the Knicks in a preseason game. Maccabi stars former Georgia Tech guard Will Bynum, and is noted for beating the Toronto Raptors back in 2005. According to this article, the game is a benefit for Migdahl Ohr, an organization that helps underprivileged Israeli kids and their families.
Good stuff all around. I'm looking forward to some interesting material to cover before the season even starts. Who's psyched for a Maccabi Tel Aviv KTO?
