Zach 'n' Eddy need a nickname.

The formidable big-man tandem of Zach Randolph and Eddy Curry is gonna be an interesting one this coming season. Since we'll probably be seeing a lot of them...any ideas for a nickname for this unit? Take into account that they're both rather portly, notoriously lazy, and offensively dominant. Don't say "Twinkie Towers", because that's already been given to the James-Curry lineup.

also a side note: don't know if anyone has mentioned this but Z should've been mr. basketball in Indiana in 2000 but he was beat out by jared jeffries. randolph's marion team did beat JJ in the state championship game though.

Yeah.

I was gonna say that might create some tension in the locker room, but Jared Jeffries probably doesn't care. He'll invite Zach over to play Boggle at least twice by the time August rolls around.

Not Quite

Z-Bo doesn't suck, and Lorenzen doesn't like hitting strippers. Or at least he's good at controlling his stripper-hitting urges.
By the way, why is his name "Z-Bo?" He's always been called Z-Bo, but I've never known why.

I was going for the "Hefty Lefty" link.

And Randolph doesn't "hit" strippers, per se. He does..um..other things to them.

"Z-Bo" is a name given to him by a highschool teammate in reference to some movie. I can't figure out which.

I am so glad I just decided to take a refresher course in what Zach Randolphs stripper situation was.
I am so glad this guy is a Knick. This is awesome.
My favorite sentence is "Woman A states that she then awoke with Randolph attempting to (blurred out words)"

I would go

with the descriptive over the poetic. Something like the Gimme Twins or the Post Hogs.

By the way there's a nice article here speculating on the future of the Knicks' frontcourt.

I do like the "Gimme Twins", actually, but since it was conceived in malice, it has been rejected.

I could make some Steve Francis jokes, but Portland's probably gonna buy him out...and they did just draft Greg Oden.

We made sarcastic comments all the time when he was a Blazer. I don't see why it should stop now.

Seriously, Zbo could be really nice for you guys. He burns to be an allstar, he works as hard as anybody, and he just wants people to like him. He adds something to his game every year, maybe Zeke can get him to understand defense when it counts is necessary and passing to Eddy will get him better looks later.

Dave's our leader and he said you could use some help with nicknames (sorry, had to get in a jab) but how's about BoCurry? These two could be a very tasty dish in the big city. (no malice intended)

Or alternatively, you could call them Haiku D'Etat. Obviously, you'd have to get them on board with it but with some minor modifications to this (click on Mike, Aaron, and Eddie) you could have cult phenomenon on your hands.
