Game Thread: Knicks at Wizards- 1-18-08

Good evening, comrades. Welcome to another game thread at your third-favorite Knicks blog. Tonight, the streaking Knicks are in our nation's capital to face the Wizards, who are probably still seething from a humiliating defeat at the Garden. I think it's safe to say that Caron Butler and friends will be pissed off and ready to ball tonight, which doesn't bode well for our likable-of-late, but still sub-.500 Knickerbockers. We'll see what happens. I might be a bit late, but I should be here for the thread and to recap later. Get them W's.

I'll be at this game tonight
Rocking my Knicks cap in front of a hostile pro-Bullet crowd (although there are a bunch of transplanted New Yorkers in this area). If we can make it 4 straight, I'll be hoarse tomorrow, guaranteed!

That pic of Brendan Haywood is hilarious! I think it was taken at this club in DC called "Love", and I bet Haywood got plenty of love that evening and next morning...

the only way to describe clydes jacket
is beast-mode. i think he's making up for several games of non-flyness by kenny smith.
waaaay 2 serious about the yanks and knicks? maybe... oh well

Haywood
I love how the announcer guy (who isn't Clyde, Gus, Kenny, Breen, Hoops, or Crispino), was talking about Haywood like a guy who went from HS or 1 year of college to the NBA, when Brendan went to UNC for 4 years....that's right announcer guy, I just fact-corrected you, bitch
Yes, they deserve to die, and I hope they burn in hell!

Aww...
Awkward White Announcer Guy: "Tomorrow night, the Knicks play the Heat, which marks Mike Breen's return... much to... Clyde's enjoyment..."

I feel bad for him. He knows he's unloved.

Finally!
A game I can watch on TV. The wizards broadcasters are so boring though jesus
I'm think I'm gonna average like 10 points, like 12-13 dimes, like 2.. 3 assists and about 4 -5 rebounds

Wow
So this is like the 3rd game I've actually seen this season.

A couple things

a) I like nate at the point. He is so much better than even last year, in my opinion.
b) Crawford is great.
c) Zach Randolph's defense is hilarious. Jamison is murdering him.
d) Zach takes stupidly difficult, contested shots.
e) You know who else sucks? Jeffries.

I'm think I'm gonna average like 10 points, like 12-13 dimes, like 2.. 3 assists and about 4 -5 rebounds

I blame this loss on....
the new white awkward announcer guy....he announced game and we lose....coincidence? I think not. We have not won a single game with him announcing, that is unacceptable.

charm wears off
my girlfriend bought me this little turtle figurine thing when she was in puerto rico, and i had it with me when we went to the pistons game. after that win, i kept it with me for every game. tonight was the turtle's (named "tartle" after the way fukijama pronounces turtle's name in the entourage episode where vince buys him those personalized sneakers) first loss. he's 3-1. not bad.
