P&T Video: Conversations with the Knicks: 10/3/08

After practice this evening I got a chance to catch up with the Knicks on topics such as politics, rookie initiation, and the Sonics' move to OKC. Oh, and I finally asked Mike D'Antoni if he'd shave his 'stache. Check it out.

I'll be back at practice tomorrow, so rack your brain for any more questions you might want me to ask the guys. Seriously.

Update: Forgot to mention, Mike D'Antoni smells very nice. Just saying.

Another great job

Couple of things:

1. Big Rome has kevlar on his knees.
2. Why can’t Nate just evolve into the freaking all star PG we need. He seems like a legit guy.

You all did love him once. - The New York Knicks.

Athletes and Politics

It was interesting to see how many of the players were not afraid to express their political preferences considering the chances of alienating fans who support a different candidate. I’ve always suspected professional athletes were more prone to support Republicans particularly because they are in the highest tax bracket and would therefore pay more under a Democratic administration. I wonder how many professional athletes from the other local teams would be as forthcoming as were the Knicks players. I applaud you, Seth, for going into an area where most mainstream journalists fear to tread.

i have too many ideas for questions to type up in a comment or email. just trust your question asking abilities, seth.

Overseas

I’d be curious to hear what they say about Josh Childress and considering overseas contract in the future.
