Duhon, You're Dead to Me.

We have a backup PG as our starting PG in a system that revolves around.. yes.. the PG. Duhon has been tooled the last three games by the opposing guard and we have a viable solution to this problem sitting there right on the bench and our coaching staff is neglecting it.
Does anyone remeber how Steph played in 06. It was exactly what this system needs. I am not saying he'd be perfect in it, but he would be three steps above Duhon. Last year was a shitty season for EVERYONE, not just Stephon. Just because he has had some terrible calls as a person does not mean he can't ball.
He carried this team in 06 when they needed it, he adapted his game that season as well. This year he was there all training camp and preseason, why not give him a chance?
I of course have a soft spot for Steph. Those 14 dollar starburys lasted me all senior year of highschool, and I give him much love for that.
I am probably panicking, but I think I can speak for everyone when I say I want an explanation to why Steph hasn't been given a chance to play.

you should be embarrassed that you put money in marbury's pockets
i’d rather have a pg that tries night in and night out than one who is admittedly more talented but quits on you if things aren’t going his way.

What do you mean quit?
He showed up all preseason and training camp and did what every other player was told. It’s not his fault as of right now that D’Antoni told him to put a suit on.
You all did love him once. - The New York Knicks.

You act like we just acquired Marbury.
this is the same marbury who skipped out on a flight to phoenix because of some beef with isiah not to mention, he may have faked injury to end his season early. sounds like a quitter to me.

OK look dude
What some people are saying is…
If you want to p unish him for the ills of last year, which is a legitimate thing to do, DO IT!!! Cut him! Trade Him!
But you don’t bench him without acknowledging that. Dantoni has said NOTHING detail wise relating to last season’s behavior regarding steph that implies that is the reason for his benching.
If you are going to put a non injured player on the inactive list, especially one who is better than alot of the ones playing, you justify it to the fans via the media, via interviews, via press conferences, etc. It’s the organization’s duty to do so.
That’s most people’s beef with the benching of marbury around here. People KNOW he can be a locker room cancer, but the proper follow-up action by the organization has not been fair to him. If he is such a cancer, you treat him as such, and eliminate him from the organization, point blank, ESPECIALLY when he is better than pretty much every guard on the team.
