Trade Rumor

Sources out of the Trail Blazers camp have heard whispers of a deal on the table that would send curry and his contract to portland. It is thought to involve both portland and houston, with key peices david lee, eddie durry, and shane battier being sent to portland, with Robinson being moved to Houston. Here is what the deal looks like TRADE.

Obviously this leaves us with much needed space with curry being shipped out. Do we like this?

Uhhhhh

This trade would cut the Knicks fanbase in half. I might not watch a game for the rest of the year.

However you want to look at it

That trade would be fucked up to do to the fans. And where the fuck ARE you getting this?

Chan back?

that’s an odd trade. it really only makes sense for Houston. i guess if Portland really wanted to go for it this year, they’d pull the trigger on something like that. something tells me that they’re more content with continuing to build towards the future rather than take on the combined $37M of Battier and Curry.

it seems like every day there is a new rumor involving Lee. i think it’s time to accept the fact that he is going to be traded before February. that’s the only way the Knicks can shed Curry.

shit

just realized that Nate was involved in that deal. i’d pass on that. he’s playing his way into a long-term contract – not that Lee isn’t, he’s just the more tradeable asset.

Yeah dude

That’s what I’m saying. If Nate wasn’t involved, I might be singing a different tune. But fuck that.

Umm...

Wouldn’t we be taking in more money than giving out if we accepted that trade? Or am I reading it incorrectly?

does portland really want shane battier that badly? Probably not. Are the blazers ready to let Bayless and the spaniards run the point full time? again, probably not. Does houston need another fiesty scoring point? nope! This deal stinks too many ways to count.

War trading Curry to minnesota to let him rot up there.

why why why

would any of these teams do this trade? it would cost the knicks arguably their best player (for a guy they already traded away), give the blazers 4 centers (3 of whom with exactly the same skill set, and cost the rockets battier, who their gm seems to regard as the ultimate glue guy.

not happening.

Alright

Everybody relax. The entire basis for this argument was sketchy, so let’s forget it and move on.
