Next year?
When Danillo gets healthy, at what point do the Knicks say, "We're building for 2010." They don't have their draft pick in 2010 thanks to Eddy Curry, and if they continue like they are this year, and either barely make the playoffs or barely miss it in the east, how helpful would a 9-16 draft pick be, again? From what I read, the 2009 Draft class isn't exactly stacked. Maybe I am wrong, but not being able to beat the Bucks and T'Wolves ain't cutting it. Maybe this is too pessimistic this early in the season, but the Knicks need some NBA talent on this roster, 7 guys won't win many games.

personally,
i love the pessimism. i’d rather just see us absofuckly tank it. get thabeet or rubio or jennings. and then have a nice little roster of guys lebron can’t win with for at least 2 or 3 years. we can have chandler, calimari, eddy curry, one of the aforementioned dickhole scrapers and jared jeffries to go along with lebron and our other huge free agent signing, that being some old turkey that doesn’t quite fit the bill. maybe we can trade for shaq or any number of declining vets. i bet there will be a pj brown out there for us to latch onto and fool the fanbase into beleiving in something that isn’t there.
maybe kelly tripucka can tie his testicles to a bazooka and shoot from the hip.

Curry
Curry could even be a reach when the Knicks pick. I love him but teams will be scared away by his hight and size

This draft is stacked
with point guards. Mike D should have his pick of who he wants to develop into the next steve nash. My vote, in the 9-16 range, Johnny Flynn from Syracuse. He has the right personality to be a chemistry guy, maturity and can hit a the big shot.

do you advocate
signing Lawrence Moten, too? i like Flynn’s game, but the Knicks already have an undersized score-first point guard (Nate).
Ewing with the step...YES! and the foul!

I love "do it all" paul
but he has ZERO touch on his shot. Dont expect him to ever be able to hit an NBA 3

I think flynn is a much better passer
than people give him credit for. Right now hes a projected lottery pick with the speed/versatility to run this offense.

next year will be great because
our team will look like a team in it’s first season out of an expansion draft.

DOo the Knicks have a 2nd rounder
if they do they NEED to draft Ty Hill from BC, all he does is score, the next A.I.
