Introducing...the Leehawk!

Yes, in this time of great change for the Knickerbockers, what with the spankin' new coach, the biggest news in my world is David Lee's flashy new mohawk. Apparently, it's some deal with his Vitamin Water sponsorship and the site they sponsored where you cut his hair and shit. I was kinda hoping for dreads myself. not

a good look for dave. certainly more premier league than nba. at least we know he’s getting paid (by 50 cent, at that).

a quick internet search reveals the following:

this very very awkward video of david lee getting his hair did.
and this terrifying interactive website that allows you to cover david lee’s face with a variety of styles of virtual pubic hair.
I guess vitaminwater understands the extent of the knicks fans collective mancrush on david lee, but this has gotta be the weirdest and least effective ad campaign in the history of water or basketball.
that being said, I like the mohawk. woulda liked a fro better, though.

obviously,

this is what Isiah’s been up to since being relieved of his other duties. Not too surprisingly he sucks at this too.
