Open Thread: Mike D'Antoni Press Conference

Today at 1 p.m. the whole gang will be on MSG to introduce our new head coach, Mike D'Antoni. Here's your spot to discuss during the press conference. I don't know how many non-college students are going to be home for this, but we'll see what happens. Either way, I'll keep track of the highlights and report back. Get them coaches.

UPDATE: The Daily News is reporting that D'Antoni has already expressed a desire to ship out Stephon Marbury and add two of his former players: Boris Diaw and Leandro Barbosa. This would not be a money-saving move. Wonder if that'll be addressed in the presser today.

UPDATE AGAIN: If you can't find it on MSG (which was the case with the Walsh press conference), hit up MSG.com and you can watch it live online.

D'antoni is the man!

Just kidding: jury’s out.

He did promise that the offense will get a shot off under the rule-allotted 24 seconds. I’m not kidding.

Marbury Interview

I just caught the interview with Steph after the press conference. Amazing.
Highlights: Steph wanted to be there. He’s running in the mountains with his brother. Last season was the best of his career. he wants to bring the Oohs and Ahhs back
