D'Antoni Names Staff

The AP is reporting that Mike D'Antoni has named three assistants to his coaching staff this afternoon. Herb Williams is the sole holdover from Isiah's crew, while D'Antoni will be adding his brother Dan and former Phoenix assistant Phil Weber to the staff. The article doesn't provide any suggestion that more hirings are to be made, though I would expect a couple additions before the season starts. Either way, no surprises here, but it is a pleasure that Williams is staying with the organization for the time being.

looks like no Ewing

they are never going to make things right with the big fella.

it’s a real shame how poorly they have treated perhaps the greatest player in franchise history.

Ewing with the step...YES! and the foul!

well if they hire'd ewing

they’d also have to spend money on 3 more towel boys to wipe up the sweat under the bench. i say financially, not hiring him is a good move for this reason.
