Rumor Mill: Westbrook Has a Promise
Rumor has it Russell Westbrook told Larry Bird and the Pacers that he will not be available to them at the #11 spot because he's been promised selection by some other team. Could this be our Knicks? You can be sure that I hope so.

I like
This guy a lot too. If you think about it, Derrick Rose is going to end up in the East, so we should probably cop a guard who can defend him. And, from what I read (and have seen), the sky’s the limit for this guy defensively. If you take into account the guards in the West, the sooner we get an elite defensive guard, the better.

I also read the following rumor:
Even stronger are rumors that the Grizzlies are talking to a number of teams, including the Knicks, Blazers and Suns, about deals that would send the No. 5 pick to whomever is willing to take Brian Cardinal’s awful contract (2 years, $13 million left). The latest buzz has the Knicks talking to Memphis about a deal that would send David Lee and the expiring contract of Malik Rose to Memphis for No. 5 and Cardinal.
I would deal this deal right now. Then we could get Westbrook and Randolph!
