Food for thought, esp. regarding Bayless
here's my debut at this fanpost thing, forgive me if i start to rant and go on too many tangents...
i was thinking about how the knicks passed on arguable top 5 talent player Jeryd Bayless , the only p layer i kinda wanted more than galinari who wasnt a top 4 lock. I figured, why would they pass on bayless?
Obviously, he was a combo guard, for one thing....those havent worked out too well for us. second, if he's so fucking good, how come with another top 15 talent (budinger) on his team, they were so bad? I mean, really, they were like the nuggets of the ncaa!! plenty of theoretical talent, but they werent doing something right, and bayless can't be totally exempt from that.
Also, i guessed that next years draft must have mad point guards, and sure enough, it does.

so take solace in this, because Walsh and D'Antoni reaized that they couldnt adequately fill the need for a passing PG while fully taking advantage of the talent available at the 6 spot, and they DIDNT force a PG pick. They know we're gonna be lottery bound next year, and we'll have plenty of PG's to look at...at least 6 in the top 15 players, possibly, according to ford as well as draftexpress....

Good point
I would shoot myself in the face if it meant the Knicks would get Jennings.

I am pretty sure the Knicks don’t have a 1st rounder next year.
