Interesting ommision:

Randolph Morris, a free agent. Anybody seen where he’s at? We heard about him working out in Boston, but I haven’t seen much else.

what i know about the random players:

Dan Grunfeld is ernie grunfeld’s son.
Von Wafer is a gunner who played on the Nuggets and Blazers last year and was traded straight up from Taurean Green. I watched him once or twice during my quest last year to watch a shitload of garbage time minutes on League Pass, and saw him airball a three once, even though he seems to have a pretty good shot. Also, my KTO for him was “has two sons named “Communion” and “Nilla.” I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes the team – we have an open roster spot and he can play.
Anthony Roberson is a point who played with the Warriors two years ago, and got very limited minutes and I never saw him play that I can remember, even though he probably shared a lot of minutes with Matt Barnes – I didn’t have league pass then.
Paul Miller has blonde hair, and therefore should have tried out for the Pacers instead. He was cut in favor of Kelvin Cato a few years back.

Answers:

I think Randolph Morris is official gone. The reason the Celtics were working him out was because D’Antoni/Walsh renounced the rights to him, so he’s pretty much out there for anyone who wants him.

Barnes: We have 15 players on the roster right now. In salary order: Marbury, Randolph, Curry, Richardson, Crawford, Rose, James, Jeffries, Duhon, Danilo, Robinson, Lee, Balkman, Chandler, Collins.

The Knicks could buyout Marbury, creating a spot. Von Wafer – I did a NBA Player Profile on him last season! It was inspired by your comment in the KTO. In fact, my whole series of profiling scrubs was inspired by that one line… what a powerful joke that was.

Anyway, the things I remember are that Von Wafer is a three-point bomber, and that he played for a team called the Colorado 14ers. Which is still a team name that needs more explanation.

i'm not sure what i was thinking.

the knicks have 15 players. you are 100 percent correct. as a self-proclaimed expert in NBA roster minutiae, this mistake is a great embarrassment to me and my entire family.

4 tidbits regarding the summer league

- I remember Anthony Roberson when he was on the Warriors, one game he scored 20+ so he started the next game and didn’t do as well. But he had a few good games like that, kinda a Von Wafer clone, who is a bit of a Nate clone, but he wouldn’t be horrible for us maybe.

- I really hope Mardy does well, I want him to stay on the team, especially because I don’t think he was really given a fair chance last year

- Nate should grow dreads….he just should

- Von Wafer’s full name sounds like the last name to Euro scrub that got two 10-day contracts for the Spurs in the mid-90’s. Does anybody remember last SL when he dropped like 45 points on the Knicks team even though the Knicks won.

oh and to answer the question from the title:

Brian Greene is munching on a bag of sweet spicy chili doritos while watching tv on the bed in Renaldo Balkman’s vegas suite.
