Gallo Throws Down

Just in case you're taking a break from the inaguration festivities, I highly recommend you indulge in this brief video of promise embodied.

Ooohhh my. Sweet shooting, fast break dunks, bungled chest-bumps. I'm in love.

(Tip of the hat to TKB.)

He's got some athleticism

One thing is clear to me, even in short minutes: he’s not a stiff, or only a spot-up stand-still shooter.

He hustles, he can get off the floor to rebound and deflect passes, and he’s got a little handle, too.

Honestly, I’m much more excited about him then I thought I’d be. Now, please, let him stay healthy, and play the rest of the year.

Listen to the Disciples of Clyde NBA Podcast. It's sleek and unique. It's rippin' and dippin'. It's weekly and, um, weekly.

Yeah, I agree

I love that he is NOT afraid to freakin’ get dirty. Its obvious to me that DG is simply not afraid of anyone in the league; and he plays fearless and balls-out. On one play, he isn’t afraid to take you to hole and next time he’s going to pop it right in your face.

Having said all that, I want him healthy for 2009 and 2010 and beyond. So PLEASE Walsh and Coach D – please please do not rush this guy. One game on, one game off if that’s what it takes. Back injuries in the NBA (see: McGrady, Tracey and Davis, Baron) are DEBILITATING!!

Well done.

heeeeeelll no!!

you’re very crazy to me all of a sudden

c'mon dude

that’s not at all a knock on Gallanari.

let’s be serious, there’s no way that Gallo is a better player than Gordon right now. EJ is averaging 20.5 points (44% FG) per game in the last month. also despite being undersized, he can play NBA-level defense despite, a department that Gallinari is woefully behind in. Gallo’s got big-time potential and could eventually be really good, but Gordon’s already proven to be a guy that’s going to be very good for a long time.

yea.

you’re right and everything. i just disapprove of everything that comes from indiana. jared jeffries for instance.

i went to Indiana

and i’m cool (i think), so is Gallo even though he has no Indiana ties.

but i agree that JJ is totally not.
