Eddy Curry's Former Girlfriend Murdered in Chicago

PrintEddy Curry deserves your sympathy. Just within the P&T era, he's been robbed at gunpoint in his own home and accused of sexual assault, and now it gets worse. From the Daily News:
Knicks Center Eddy Curry's 3-year-old son witnessed his mother and baby-sister's murders in their Chicago apartment Saturday, according to a source close to Curry.
Nova Henry, 24, a former girlfriend of Curry's, and her 9-month-old daughter, Ava, were found shot dead by Henry's mother around 6 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
Curry's son was found unharmed inside the South Side apartment, but his father was still described as "despondent" Saturday night.
This is just one more unsettling chapter in Eddy Curry's recent history, and in the lives of many Chicago basketball players. Between Curry, Quentin Richardson, and Antoine Walker, we've had far too much drama in the lives of the NBA's Chicagoans. Our thoughts go out to Eddy and his family.

Their is too much drama in the lives many ordinary Chicagians, forget being an NBA player. You could throw Philly, Detroit, St. Louis, Memphis or many other inner cities into that maintenance. It’s a needless loss of human life occuring daily and I’m tired of it. I hope having a guy who lives in a big city as POTUS can have some effect.

I thought the same exact thing. Even if it was his ex girlfriend his son was still with her, he has made enough money to atleast throw the gf a bone so that he can get his son out of the southside.
Still feel terrible though. Hopefully the child makes it through ok.
