Looking forward to a good game. Lee a beast, one of my fav players. One year contract? What is up with that. We will trade Marvin for him.

good lord

saw EC in the pregame show…you guys weren’t kidding.

After SGT’s post about Tinas rack, I’m def going to be looking for that now too.

by Weasie on Nov 11, 2009 7:12 PM EST reply actions

that is interesting

i guess he is still a better distributor than hughes most of the time. feed those young guns duhon, and recapture your faded glory.

by Ray Smuckles on Nov 11, 2009 7:37 PM EST up reply actions

That's D'antoni's way of

Starting Toney without benching Duhon. Seems kind of half-assed but I’ll take it.

DO WHAT JOSE REYES DO!!!

by Jadden Hopkins on Nov 11, 2009 7:45 PM EST reply actions

a TD3 = Tony Toni Tone

Anyway, you should check out the movie "Black and White," which actually stars Allan Houston. It’s not a comedy, but rather a really serious and emotional movie. - Wilson Chandler

rookie mistake, I hope D’Antoni doesn’t sit him down for the next month now

by Nolan B on Nov 11, 2009 7:54 PM EST up reply actions

i hope he goes off

but we still win on a gallo tomahawk

Stupid Benching

So, with the Knicks actually playing well, D’Antoni takes out the two players that were keeping the team running well and puts into players that make the ball stick.

I love our team.

by Stargazey on Nov 11, 2009 8:00 PM EST reply actions

Did Gallinari chug some espresso before coming out? He looks pretty excited.

by Jadden Hopkins on Nov 11, 2009 8:15 PM EST reply actions

i wish we played like this all the time

but i guess consistency is what separates the teams in this league after all

Eddie looks GOOD. Damn.

Is Mike Breen broadcasting from underwater?

by Stargazey on Nov 11, 2009 8:32 PM EST reply actions

what's dwtdd role on this team gonna be?

is he going to be able to play point eventually? even with his recent good games he doesnt seem to have very court vision, and him and du as the starting guards cant last very long.

by ibnyc on Nov 11, 2009 8:34 PM EST reply actions

good question

im worried about who nate is gonna take time away from when he’s back. got to be duhon, but does that make nate or toney pg? dantoni’s got a mess all over himself.

by Ray Smuckles on Nov 11, 2009 8:43 PM EST up reply actions

chris duhon

is beyond infuriating to watch right now.

by riise on Nov 11, 2009 8:37 PM EST reply actions

He’s like a basketball Jay Cutler.

by Stargazey on Nov 11, 2009 8:39 PM EST reply actions

he’s so much worse than that

by ibnyc on Nov 11, 2009 8:42 PM EST up reply actions

hell no

jay cutler is a star. duhon is like the borderline average talent that excelled against inferior competition through college

by Jadden Hopkins on Nov 11, 2009 9:09 PM EST reply actions

toney is the man

lookin more like a sg than a pg right now

by babyeater26 on Nov 11, 2009 9:10 PM EST reply actions

but see

once people respect that jumper, he’ll be able to make some sick passes off the screen.

by Seth on Nov 11, 2009 9:11 PM EST up reply actions

he definitely plays like a SG, but I think under the right time he can become a starting quality PG. Pair him with a ball dominant player like Lebron or Wade and you have money

by Nolan B on Nov 11, 2009 9:14 PM EST up reply actions

i like him a lot, but i still see him as a more dependable version of nate (taller, better d, less enamored with himself, but still an undersized scorer)

by ibnyc on Nov 11, 2009 9:15 PM EST up reply actions

JJ

Someone has to keep track of how many times a game Jared Jeffries inexplicably ends up on the floor

by ibnyc on Nov 11, 2009 9:23 PM EST reply actions

HEEYYY

Duhon missed! Shocked, just shocked.

by sean8686 on Nov 11, 2009 9:28 PM EST reply actions

TD3

DO WHAT JOSE REYES DO!!!

by Jadden Hopkins on Nov 11, 2009 9:31 PM EST up reply actions

gahhh

to be fair, toney’s pass was iffy.

but still, catch the ball.

by Seth on Nov 11, 2009 9:33 PM EST reply actions

no really why is he on the floor right now… dont tell me defense on johnson… the eff outta here… where the hell is chandler?

by Knicks Fan in OZ on Nov 11, 2009 9:34 PM EST reply actions

JARED JEFFRIES

3 on 1 break, TD gives him a beautiful bounce pass right to the hands…he drops the fucking ball! His hands are greased

by Kupe on Nov 11, 2009 9:35 PM EST reply actions

This Knicks team can beat any

special olympics team in the country

by Shivling on Nov 11, 2009 9:35 PM EST reply actions

yeah...

not really living up to potential though

by Seth on Nov 11, 2009 9:37 PM EST up reply actions

ha no ,not yet

a little hill for harrington would be nice, however unlikely

by Ray Smuckles on Nov 11, 2009 9:38 PM EST up reply actions

If only this was NBA Jam

I think the Douglas/Gallo combo could hold its own

by Nolan B on Nov 11, 2009 9:39 PM EST reply actions

Harrington has 31 minutes

your telling me we cant get Hill in there even for a little??

by sean8686 on Nov 11, 2009 9:41 PM EST reply actions

next week...

when Nate comes back, lets hope D’Antoni puts him and TD out on the floor together

by Kupe on Nov 11, 2009 9:41 PM EST reply actions

who will defend the other team’s 2 guard?

by ibnyc on Nov 11, 2009 9:42 PM EST up reply actions

Lets hope by then

Chris Duhon and JJ are riding the bench

DO WHAT JOSE REYES DO!!!

by Jadden Hopkins on Nov 11, 2009 9:42 PM EST up reply actions

seth last game i said TD was a revelation… in your game recap you wrote “not really”

look at what he is giving us right now… duhon is on the pine in crunch time again feeling sorry for himself. TD is a revelation… and needs to be runnin this squad.

by Knicks Fan in OZ on Nov 11, 2009 9:42 PM EST reply actions

not knockin your assessment and hey i tend to get geeked when i see the type of TD grit and passion. and im sick of the weak psyche surrounding this team.

by Knicks Fan in OZ on Nov 11, 2009 9:46 PM EST up reply actions

no, i agree with you.

i was defining revelation as a "an enlightening or astonishing disclosure "

by Seth on Nov 11, 2009 9:47 PM EST up reply actions

oh goodness, al

poor form. not a good idea at the garden..

by Seth on Nov 11, 2009 9:42 PM EST reply actions

can lee and harrington

guard a chair?

Hill need to get some time

by a hay on Nov 11, 2009 9:43 PM EST reply actions

Yeah

You would figure the #8 pick of the draft can at least get two minutes

DO WHAT JOSE REYES DO!!!

by Jadden Hopkins on Nov 11, 2009 9:45 PM EST up reply actions

milicic

what happened to him

by a hay on Nov 11, 2009 9:45 PM EST reply actions

11 shots for Gallo??

Anyone else think he should be shooting a bit more?

by sean8686 on Nov 11, 2009 9:45 PM EST reply actions

1 barely even counts because he was given the ball at the end of the 3rd to try and get a 25 footer

by Nolan B on Nov 11, 2009 9:48 PM EST up reply actions

It's official, this is pointless...

There’s no point in playing al harrington, chris duhon, or larry hughes. they’ll be gone after the season and are terrible. new rotation should be: Toney, Gallo, Chandler, Lee, Hill, Nate, Curry, JJ. (The last two purely for the possibility that someone will trade for them.

by ibnyc on Nov 11, 2009 9:46 PM EST reply actions

happy for Hughes to be the PG

Duhon has done nothing, should be released

Harrington plays too much, but can be a scorer off the bench

by a hay on Nov 11, 2009 9:47 PM EST up reply actions

I agree

I think that if there is any truth to the team “quitting because the win in 2010 plan” the quitting is happening with Harrington, Duhon, Jefferies etc. What do we really have to loose going with the young guys?

by sean8686 on Nov 11, 2009 9:49 PM EST reply actions

+1

DO WHAT JOSE REYES DO!!!

by Jadden Hopkins on Nov 11, 2009 9:50 PM EST up reply actions

Jeffries

he is just not very good

Lee on the other hand has been horrible so far, not focusing

by a hay on Nov 11, 2009 9:54 PM EST up reply actions

hey! randolph morris!

i knew there was a reason to keep watching!

by Seth on Nov 11, 2009 9:51 PM EST reply actions

Yeah that too

that follows with Van Gundy’s point the other night, the Knicks just have shitty players

by sean8686 on Nov 11, 2009 9:51 PM EST reply actions

we’re a small shooting team with no shooters

by ibnyc on Nov 11, 2009 9:52 PM EST up reply actions

Knicks has good players

just no leaders and no go to guy

Chandler and Gallinari are good but play the same position

Hughes and Douglas make 2 good guards

I would like to see more of Millicic in the middle, to make up for all the D lapses

by a hay on Nov 11, 2009 9:56 PM EST up reply actions

yuck

thanks for coming, guys.

keep commenting. only way to make these dreadful losses somewhat fun.

by Seth on Nov 11, 2009 9:54 PM EST reply actions

Why does Mike refuse to go young?

I know the team needs leadership, but since when were rejects like Duhon and Harrington leaders? Douglas almost singlehandedly kept us in the game tonight and Gallo was good during the few times he was involved. Can Hill really be worse than Jeffries? He has to at least be a step up from Lee on D!

by Nolan B on Nov 11, 2009 9:55 PM EST reply actions

...i mean...

douglas did start and get 35 minutes. gallo played 31.

can’t speak for hill, though. he should play a little.

by Seth on Nov 11, 2009 9:56 PM EST up reply actions

and yet who played the most? Al Harrington, who once again shot us out of the game

by Nolan B on Nov 11, 2009 9:58 PM EST up reply actions

ya

No reason to stick with Jared, his defense, if anything, is overrated…duhon is just garbage this season

by Kupe on Nov 11, 2009 9:58 PM EST up reply actions

hill has to play more

especially with jeffries and harrington taking any sort of pressure off of him. we’ll see what happens. later seth

by Ray Smuckles on Nov 11, 2009 9:57 PM EST reply actions

Hey well look on the positive side

LeBron James is wearing sneakers with New York on them tonight

by sean8686 on Nov 11, 2009 9:57 PM EST reply actions

the Nets are also close to keeping the worst record!

by Nolan B on Nov 11, 2009 9:59 PM EST up reply actions

In my opinion

Start

G Hughes Douglas
F Gallo Lee
C Millicic

Bench Robinson, Al, Chandler and Hill

by a hay on Nov 11, 2009 9:58 PM EST reply actions

Brandon Jennings cooked up a 32-9 tonight. Fuck.

"I'll probably go get lifted right now with Greg. Hey, and come back tomorrow and try to get another win."
