The Knicks will be on national TV tonight...
...and I'm curious how everybody deals with that. The Knicks aren't much of a national draw these days, but they're getting a handful of nationwide broadcasts this season when playing big-name opponents. Tonight's game against the Cavaliers will be televised on ESPN, but also on MSG as usual. That creates a decision to be made for any in-market Knick fan: Which to watch? I'm curious what you guys think.

out-of-staters
what about the poll option that I don’t have access to MSG in california and so it will definitely be national tv?
I'll watch on ESPN
for the heck of it, but if they keep talking about “he who must not be named” going to NY or NJ too often, I’ll just watch hockey.
Odds are that they will say it a good 50 times before the game even starts. Might as well just watch the Islanders or Sabres game.

I'll have to watch on ESPN
they’re announcers aren’t bad, actually the basketball crew is usually the best they have to offer (baseball announcers are horrendous, football OK).
Hopefully its a good game. If they win it’d be nice.
Be nice to see if there’s a few Yankee players in the crowd. Maybe they get cheered more loudly than the team (I think that happened after the Giants won and went to a Knick game)
DO WHAT JERRY HAIRSTON DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can
a blog whose very name is devoted to Clyde Almighty even ask this question?
Though I suppose that the involvement of JVG makes it a somewhat closer call.

oh
i voted clyde. but i might go with van gundy, because i’d like to hear him criticize the knicks. i’ll get my fair share of clyde on the knicks. but jeff van gundy bashing us is a rare thing. i might have to go to espn.

since I'm basically a basketball newb,
would anyone please explain why the blog is called posting and toasting? Thanks

clyde frazier
knick legend and msg commentator always rhymes his phrases. “posting and toasting” is one of them. the double entendre with blogging i would supose is also applicable.
i can’t believe i’m giving this lesson. i feel weird now.

two years ago
when they were on vs the celtics where they got killed.
All u heard was Marv Albert and Reggie Miller rip the Knciks and Isiah (of course it was on TNT)
Let's go
Cleveland is vulnerable right now and coming off a back to back. Mike D needs to get the team hyped up to run and win the game. The Knicks have been playing slow as balls on offense and D’antoni looks laid back and apathetic so far. I’m telling you this one is winnable and how sweet would it be making you know who look straight foolish on national TV 2 nights in a row

Knicks
Whatever network I choose, I realize one thing………. we are the worst team in the NBA! Been a fan of NY for 40 years and I am honestly embarrassed, never thought I would see it this bad!
