Breaking: Tim Thomas & Big Snacks for Larry Hughes

Just read on ESPN.com that Chad Ford heard the Knicks and Bulls have agreed to the following trade:

Jerome James

Tim Thomas

for

Larry Hughes

What the hell would this do to help us? I don't know, give us back a player who has forgotten how to be a good basketball player in the last 3 years? You guys tell me.

Is he serviceable? Is this a mistake? Are we going to miss Tim's 3-point shooting and size, with no real big men? Does this mean less playing time for anybody? Thoughts.

ps

that’s the same argument we all sort of made about tim when we got him earlier this year. i bet hughes has some type of worth. but it seems like a lateral movement so i am not terribly impressed.

Yeah seriously!

That’s a great one. You basically add front-court depth and a guy that can block shots and rebound. He’s sort of a poor man’s Marcus Camby. If that trade is possible….do it, do it, do it.

Maybe Wilcox has worn out his welcome in OKC and perhaps b/c the trade got rescinded they need to just get rid of him?

If this happens: thank you Tyson Chandler’s toe……..thank you.

SWEET!
Chad Ford: Yes. Bulls and Knicks have agreed to a trade. Larry Hughes for Tim Thomas and Jerome James. I’m told it’s waiting for league approval.
