A Tough Question
Okay, so the Knicks gave out those all-decade awards recently, and it got me to thinking...it's 2009. this decade is almost over. so who would the knicks tab as their player of this past decade?
crickets.
that's all i can hear at least. could you pick david lee or nate robinson? and no, it's not allan houston. no. no. no. anyways it's a difficult question but i'd like to see your suggestions.

i'm not saying we already talked about this...
…but we already talked about this.
and the answer is definitely houston. the new guys haven’t proven anything and my namesake probably doesn’t meet donnie walsh’s standards for character.
houston was good, but became overrated and overpaid – the hallmarks of this decade in knicks basketball.

How could it not be H20?
It’s not his fault he was overpaid. He should have been an excellent complimentary player, if not for the failures of this organization. Unfortunately, that superstar was never acquired. Allan Houston is hands-down this decade’s best player. If that upsets people, good. It only further points to the team’s futility over the last several years. So if you’re one of those upset by this, chalk it up to grim reality. Carl Braun, Richie Guerin, Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Bernard King, Patrick Ewing . . . Allan Houston.
Here’s to optimism for the future. We’ll need it.

four point play
my favorite moment as a knick fan.
i vote for LJ… i mean, why the hell not?

yeah but LJ
is remembered for ’99, not for anything in the 2000s.
i still think that the poster-child of the 2000s should be Eddy Curry, which was by far the worst of all the ridiculous Layden-Isiah trades of the decade.
Ewing with the step...YES! and the foul!
