Editor's Note: It's getting hard to keep up with all the meaningless transactions by myself. Thanks to Barnesgasm for the find.

The Knicks have been confusing at best with their signings of random guys to random contracts, and, with one game left in the season, out goes Courtney Sims, in comes Chris Hunter, who will fill up a roster spot and could be used in a trade, both things Courtney Sims could have done. Maybe it's a salary cap thing, but, I don't get it.

Prediction for Hunter's line Wednesday's night against NJ: 12 minutes, 0-2 shooting, 0 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 8 steals.

Also, judging from the respective alma maters of these two individuals, I predict the Knicks sign Laval Lucas-Perry to a multi-year deal by monday.

Thanks fellas

Prediction: Zero minutes. He has a hairline fracture in his ankle and missed the final two games of the regular season. Love the Knicks :-)

actually i'm sort of angry about this

when you said he had a hairline fracture, i figured it had healed. are we really signing dudes with broken limbs nowadays?
if we’re going to sign someone who has literally no chance of hitting the floor, couldn’t we sign like a down-on-his-luck businessman suffering because of the economy, or the homeless dude who always sits outside the gristedes on 21st street?

It's understandable

Here’s the link. I never looked into any follow up after that, but he did miss the final two games of his teams season.
