LeBron James is pretty good at basketball.
Just got back from a friend's house and I've just gotta say...wow. That shot may actually be my favorite moment of LeBron's already storied career because we got a brief taste of what he's like inside. The reaction you saw after the shot went down was pure, unbridled excitement. Coming from a guy whose image on and off the court is so carefully processed, such a moment of raw human triumph was a treat.
The kid's pretty good at basketball.

These conference finals
have been incredible so far. All 4 teams Id say are pretty equal and I would not be surprised at any who goes to the finals or wins the finals (unlike ESPN, who with those Lebron and Kobe commercials seems to conclude that these 2 are in the finals already).
I want Denver and Cleveland in there, cuz while I still remember the brawl with the Nuggets, I can’t say that I didn’t want to cheap shot Mardy Collins a few times too so Carmelo still is my boy.
I’m really rooting for Denver right now. Mainly cuz of the fact that I can’t stand Pau Gasol’s Serena Williamsing after every shot.
I don't care what it takes
We simply MUST get LeBron to New York. I want to experience these moments at the Garden. I know its a long shot, but c’mon! Let’s be positive, pray, make little golden statues, whatever it takes. LBJ is our future.
anyone still think Kobe is better?
yeah, didn’t think so.

I wouldn't say that yet
To me, there are 4 great players in the league, and 3 of them are in the conference finals now, Kobe, Lebron and Carmelo. Wade is #4, Dwight Howard will be great once he actually is consistently good in the post.
I think all 4 are pretty equal. They have their faults, but all can take over the game at any point. All of them haven’t won a champ without a dominant center either, at least those that have been to the finals.
In order to anoint one, one has to win of course. Lebron and Kobe have their shots again, Carmelo his first real shot. If they lose to Dwight Howard’s team, then I still think all of these guys are equal.

LeBron has passed Kobe
it’s nothing against Kobe, and i’d still give him the ball in a tie game with 4 seconds left over anybody. but, LeBron has clearly surpassed him as an all-around player and i think this season/postseason has erased any doubt about it.
i’ve really been impressed with Howard and i think he’s ready to get on that level with LeBron, Kobe, and Wade. you’re also right on about Carmelo. now that he’s buried his immaturity issues, he’s primed to be a superstar.

its not a longshot...
I’m pretty confident LeBron would come to NY as long as the Cavs don’t win the title both this year and next year. Any other way, he’ll have likely delivered a title to Cleveland and can leave them satisifed for the bigger stage. Can we get rid of Curry and Jeffries is the question…
Nah
Its the longest of long shots.
People say he wants to come to NY, but really? Does he?
He doesn’t need NY, NY needs Lebron.
The ONLY thing that would make Lebron leave Cleveland is if someone management breaks up the team

i still think it's 50/50 regardless of what happens
does he want to stay in his home state and hang the franchise’s first (and maybe second, third, etc.) banner?
or does he want to resurrect basketball in New York on the big stage?
both arguments hold weight.

your right
about resurrecting the Knicks. Lebron would probably be the most beloved superstar next to Derek Jeter in NY if he won the championship.
But the thing to me that makes it more like 10/90 coming here is the fact that Lebron wants to be liked. Its almost unbelievable how many people would just be devastated if he left Cleveland.
I know as NYers we all could really care less if Lebron is the villain in Ohio and to all these Cleveland fans, but I just think that Lebron really doesn;t want that to happen. They really think of him as “KING James”.
I highly doubt that all the Knicks fans would see him as a villian if he stayed with the Cavs.

If he wins the LOB Trophy,
He’s staying in Cleveland.
