Knicks' beat writer and Eddy Curry lover Marc Berman is reporting that the pro team Oilykmpkiakoiks (extra k's and i's added for Greek emphasis) is offering Nate Robinson a package that translates to $10 million (!) per season.

Also, Lee has an expiring five-year offer from Donnie & Co.

Really?

I was just reading about how most Euro teams are in such dire straits that agents are expecting market value to drop 30-40 percent. Thats a lot of percent. I know Olympiakos has the deepest pockets of the Euro teams, but 10 mill for Nate is bonkers.

This also makes me wonder what exactly Euro teams are looking for in NBA players. Childress and Nate have really different games, personalities and uh, heights. Does Olympiakos’ management thinks that there’s a certain prototype for crossing the pond, or do they just find guys who are disenchanted with their contracts and just throw $ at them?

"But when he saw it, he just put his hands up and they couldn’t give it to him. It just fell to the ground, I-I don’t, you know … So, that showed me he had great experience..." - Jeff Van Gundy
