This is just like the Eddy Curry thing, except it's Stephon Marbury and there's no video feed. The man is incredible. If you're reading this and it's still Tuesday night, do not miss out.

Update: Skeets posted the moneyest of lines from the live stream. Ain't nothin like the real thing, though.

I was about to go to sleep and I just wanted to make sure nothing happened with Sessions, but this might be worth staying up for.

knew it was a good time to check p and t

i still love stephon more than pretty much any player in the nba, even after all the bullshit. and him sucking on the knicks for however many years.

His jersey number haunted me

Nobody was more excited than me when the news broke that he was coming to the Knicks. I was actually hanging out with my friend from Bed-Stuy when we heard, and we were like “This is it! It doesn’t get anymore storybook than this! Coney Island’s favorite son has returned to lead us to glory!”
However, the longer and longer he played for the Knicks, the more he grated on me, and I think it was having to see that #3 on his back.
Starks is my favorite basketball player of all time. He made me love the game of basketball. I feel my connection to Starks is as strong as yours is to Barnes (although mine is based on more conventional reasons).
It’s safe to say that Starks and Marbury had remarkably different Knick careers, and I just would get so mad when I saw Marbury sulking with his towel with that 3 on his back (although Starks was a baby alot also, but he was also a winner).
