Aw c'mon dude
Did you really think Kidd was coming here? This never stood a chance. This stuff is about business, not basketball and NOBODY will take the type of paycut we were talking here. He just used the NYK to play Cuban for the sucker that he is. Kidd is already old as dirt and Cuban goes and signs him for 3 YEARS!!! Sheesh, who is Kidd’s agent. That dude deserves every he’ll earn from that contract.

All I know is...
I almost shit my pants over this Jason Kidd stuff…but I mean now they’re bringing in Grant “Geriatric” Hill to talk bidness. I don’t like it at all. For that I’d rather see Walsh suit up and play himself. He wouldn’t count against cap and he’d have more comedic value.

YES
That was a ridiculous embarrassing exercise. Why go through that in the first place? That bit of desperation was also a horrendous admission that the last free agent signing didn’t work out too good. Please leave Grant Hill alone. Those are Gallo’s developmental rollover minutes.

I'm happy about this and all, but . . .
is there really any evidence that God is a Knicks fan?

I don;t know what's worse tho
at least Kidd for all his serial killer looks would have helped the Knicks on the court.
Grant Hill is visiting today. I can’t wait to hear the offer to him, cuz I doubt he really has any other suitors.

i dunno about that
sounds like boston wants him. and i think they are very serious about that. and hill doesn’t seem interested in making mega-bucks. apparently he makes only a little bit more than the veteran’s minimum.
i would like to have hill on the team. his knowledge of the game is excellent. he’d never be a good coach, because he’s too nice. but if he’s on the floor, he can help direct traffic exceptionally well, and that is something a d’antoni team thrives on: communicating.

But with Grant Hill on the team
what do we do with CHandler and Gallo? I thought that was the point of banishing Q-Rich, so they open up more minutes for gallo And Chandler?
I guess they could play Grant with either cuz he can handle the ball, but I still don’t understand it.
I read that he could be offered this bi-ennial expeption worth 2 mill a year. I don’t know if Bahston can offer the same or more, but Id assume that Grant would rather Bahston cuz they have a better chance next season (tho once Sheed explodes, they won’t go anywhere.

nah
hill plays more of relief for duhon. plus swing minutes for chandler and gallo to get rest. but you put hill out there, gallo and chandler just break. hill can rebound and run the break with guys already getting in place. no pass, just get out and go. makes sense to me. plus the long wings, and a 6’8" backcourt guy masks a short defender such as nate or douglass, or even duhon.

crisis averted
three-year deal for Kidd would’ve been a disaster.
