D'exaggeration

From realgm.com

Mike D'Antoni told the media that he has never seen a shooter as good as Danilo Gallinari.

"He's the best shooter I've ever seen," D'Antoni said.

I mean, I don't know what else to add. I mean, I don't need to tell you guys the players D'Antoni has coached. Just remember that he's 58 years old and has been around basketball his entire life. He's coached Steve Nash on the Suns and Mike Miller, Michael Redd, Kobe Bryant, etc. in the Olympics. Comments?

Nice compliment

Like to see him prove it.

But you can see he’s a great shooter. That he played last year with such a debilitating injury and still was a good shooter, shows you that Gallo does have that sort of ability.

Best Pringles has seen? Probably full of it on that one.

What the f$%k is the internet?

Just one thing

I know Steve Nash is a really good point guard, but I don’t think I have ever heard him described as a great shooter.

From John Hollinger:

“Nash will remain the focal point, as he complements deft passing with one of the best outside shots in league history and has kept himself in remarkably good shape.”

"I'll probably go get lifted right now with Greg. Hey, and come back tomorrow and try to get another win."

I don't have the exact stats

but Nash has shot something like over 90% on FT, 50% from the field , and 40% on threes. He is undoubtedly a great shooter.

D'antoni also worked out Stephen Curry

And joked that the Knicks couldn’t draft him because he’d be a better shooter than Alan Houston. So D’antoni has seen Houston too and he thinks Gallo is better. But what’s really exciting is that Gallo is more than just a shooter, he can also handle the ball and he’s 6’10", and he’s got some competetive fire.
