P&T&T-Mobile Ticket Contest #2- Bunches of Hunches

This post is sponsored by T-Mobile.

The winners of the first T-Mobile-sponsored P&T trivia contests have been picked. Check your email to see if you'll be joining me at tonight's Knicks-Raptors game. If you didn't win, don't fret. I've got another heap of tickets available for the January 18th game against the Detroit Pistons. The game's changed, though. I've had more time to think and plan, so you can't just copy and paste yourself into tickets from here on out. Here's how it's gonna work:

1. In the comments of this post, indicate which Knick you expect to lead the team in scoring tonight against the Raptors. You don't have to say how many points or anything like that-- just the Knicks' leading scorer.

2. Comments will close before game time and we'll all watch (and join in the game thread, those of you at home!) tonight's game. Hopefully, the Knicks will stomp all over the Raptors.

3. I'll take a look at the boxscore upon returning from the game and, with a series of intricate calculations, will determine the Knicks' leading scorer.

4. Those users who correctly predicted the leading scorer will be entered into a random drawing (which will be an actual hat) for tickets to the next home game (1/18).

5. In the event of a tie between two Knicks, I'll turn to field goal percentage, then assists, to pick a single correct answer.

6. In the event that an unforeseen Knick leads the team in scoring (e.g. Jerome James Marcus Landry explodes for 50 off the bench), I'll go with the next best scorer, and so forth.

Pretty simple. Again, keep your answers as short as possible to make things easier for me. Do some research on splits and whatnot, and post your predicted Knicks leading scorer for tonight's game in the comment section of this post. Answers registered after 7 p.m. EST (one hour before tip-off) will not count.

Go get 'em.

N8 the Gr8

I already have tix for Monday, so I don’t want to be entered. Just doing this for the challenge.

Also, I’ll be at the game tonight too rocking my P&T shirt. On the aisle in Sec. 21. Come by and say hi if you’re nearby. (Wow, that was almost Clyde-like.)

Put your toys away, kids

Ill Wilson Chandler is gonna anchor our scoring tonight.

Also look for him to celebrate Italian Heritage but posterizing Andrea Bargnani without so much as a blink after.

He’s my pick

I've got to work Monday

But obviously the leading scorer will be Jared Jeffries!

by fiveeight on Jan 15, 2010 11:17 AM EST reply actions

Tonight's Leading Scorer....

Danilo Gallinari… I would’ve said Lee but I see Bosh limiting him a teeny tiny bit. Also now that he’s attended his grandpapa’s ceremonies he might be a bit more distracted now that it’s sinking in a bit more.

So the Rooster get’s my vote.

Harrington. Al Harrington.

I'd love to see Gallo do it

But I have a hunch it will be Nate Robinson.

By the way, I’m far away – if I win and can’t get back to NY for the game can I give the ticket to my dad? He once tied Clyde in a game of one-on-one….

Gallo will run over Italian heritage night , and be top scorer

David Lee no doubt about it

by riss on Jan 15, 2010 12:27 PM EST reply actions

Since toront can't play D to save their lives, it could really be anyone

But I’ll go with Chandler. Gallo’s still too passive and Wil’s been feeling it lately.

In any case, David Lee. Al’s still injured otherwise I would have said him.

Wilson Chandler

Who is gonna guard him?

by DougDula on Jan 15, 2010 12:30 PM EST reply actions

Marcus Landry!

Only because I want him to explode for 50 and screw up the contest, and because I’m not in New York to go to the games. (If you want to win this contest, go with Gallo. It’s Italian Night, and you know he’s going to make all of us Italians proud)!

Yo, I’m going to the Mavericks game in a couple weeks, are there tickets available for then? I just wanted to come say hi.

I’m going with the safe pick, though.

Don't you think

Breen could do better than a 3?

The dude is a national play-by-play guy, he could probably get at least 6s or 7s.
