When two reporters and a camera crew were let into the Westchester gym an hour into practice, Hughes -- furious he's been dropped from the rotation -- was nowhere to be found.

All the Knicks were on the court, doing their shooting, except for Hughes and injured Eddy Curry. The team remained shooting for another 35 minutes.

A Knicks spokesman claimed Hughes left the court to take a "bathroom break" but that he never returned to rejoin his teammates.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Sure, that could be mutiny, but Larry also could've just had a case of the runs. Happens to everybody now and then.

I mean, I like Larry Hughes, but he is a nomad now. This is why, too. He always starts off playing well with his new team, then settles in and decides he doesn’t like it and the team decides “hey, Larry Hughes isn’t that good”. We are just next in line.

Its too bad though, cus Larry DID have a point about the coach communicating with the players more. This, uh, isn’t the way to be heard.

wow

guys, that “he-didnt-play-so-he-must-suck” argument has already been dispelled. if the knicks win by 20 against the lakers and dlee doesnt play, that doesnt necessarily mean dlee sucks. what about the game at the garden where they lost to the raptors and hughes didnt play?
