I had to work.
But I would have loved to see the return of Nate Robinson for a win, for the VERY FLAT Knicks. Maybe D’Antoni saw a vision of his future like Mr. Scrooge, and decided Tiny Tim deserved to live after all.
Nate Is As Nate Does. He played great and changed the pace and balance of power as he often does. Hopefully, D’Antoni has got religion and stops coaching on superstition and intuition.

Nate loves everybody.
Of that whole, ridiculous game, I think my favorite part was the timeout after the late three, when three guys when up to shoulder-bump Nate, and Coach D just stood there shaking his head, grinning a little. You can’t stop the little man, Coach!

Mike: What Were You Thinking?
My first post on this board—-and it couldn’t come at a better time! Nate Robinson was amazing in Atlanta—-but then, he’s been amazing throughout his whole career. Sure he gets wild sometimes and shows off—-but he has the talent and heart to back it up! I want to see more of him—-and I think Mike was wrong to bench him for as long as he did. Bender, poor guy, is a lox right now. Robinson, Harrington and Lee are the heart of this club. I think we are going to make the playoffs! We only have to play .500 for the rest of the season to do it. And we will!

we gotta play better than .500
the benching was deserved. and the point was made. but it’s not like one game can change the course nate’s career. obviously he hit the ground running!!! but he still showed that he could use a bit of reeling in. a few passes could have been made to help the team’s flow- but it was just his night, and there was no stopping him. kudos for coach d for not pulling him out of the game midway through the fourth. and for giving him the trust he needed.
nate’s whole career, has been spent looking over his shoulder and waiting to be yanked for one bad play (thanks coaches). if he is given room to operate, and the stress of perfection is off his shoulders, he could become the most valuable player on the team (it will still be david lee, but i think you know what i mean).
i just hope he can shake and bake on the pick and roll soon, because, duhon is not a threat to score or make a convincing swing pass any time soon. nate is the guy.

I agree
but apparently, the other Knicks told Nate to just shoot. As long as they are down, I’m down.

Agree Part Deux
Basketball players know when they have someone special in their midst, just like all artists—-whether they are opera singers or rock guitarists—-and Nate is something special. I agree that he has always been looking over his shoulder—-and that he masks it with some bravado (Napoleon syndrome?). Still, talented he is—-and Mike has no one near him for sheer excitement. If he plays he will bring in the customers. And that’s what pro bball is all about! Nate the Great!

and yea
a million thank you’s nate! just as we here at p&t were talking about greatest games we’ve seen in years, we were treated to one. keep your nose to the grindstone!
and that was filthy what you did to marvin williams. he should be fined $25,000 for looking that goofy.

and the way Josh Smith literally couldn't keep up with Nate driving the hole.
it really looked like Nate’s momentum created a wind shear that knocked Josh Smith to the ground.

if you can't beat 'em, join 'em
joe johnson ny knicks 2010
nah...
if you can’t beat em…there was a reason, cuz you throw up bricks like Al Harrington.
…pass.
In the 2010 NBA draft the NY Knicks select.....Nate Robinson. 5"9 PG from Pringles' Doghouse U!
Thanks Nate.
Really hope you did change and this is the type of PG you’ll be going forward.
The talent is there..even the instincts are there, for him to be a great PG.
Maybe just watching the way someone like Duhon goes about his game..really helped Nate?
He’s a good dude…hopefully he’s a humble dude too.
The shot was falling…I’d just hope that I don’t see the chucking up from 3pt when nothing’s there.
When Nate moves the ball around..well..when the whole team moves the ball around, this team is good.

It's true
Did you see how Malik Rose still loves him? And Nate punched him in the head in the shower a few years ago.
That’s when you know you’re a likable dude. The guys who you punched in the head still love you.

Nates enthusiasm is great for the knicks and the game, however, there is a certain level of basketball maturity that needs to be achieved and Nate contiues to struggle with that. I do agree with the benching of Nate but i would have allowed him to play much sooner than last night. Nates services are desparately needed and he needs to step up to the plate and grace the NBA stage as a professional athelete……period.
Goner
Nate said all the right things… to make sure he gets he gets a nice contract for next year. I bet he can’t wait to become the sixth man on a decent team, come back to MSG, and rip the Knicks for 50+. This is the way things go for this team with this ownership and this management.
Shout Out to Isiah
I like that from Nate. Show the tarnished legend a little love. Maybe he has a little empathy now.
