I'm still waiting for the hard driving slasher that we hoped he would be but that Gallo hasn't shown up yet. Guys are playing him way too close and he won't or can't drive into the lane. 

I think it may be a quickness issue and that kind go thing does not go away. On the other hand

we've got a guy quietly sitting in the wings who if

 given the opportunity could light this club on fire. This guy had a college career in which he was the primary option for a pretty good team in a pretty tough league. He led this conference in scoring and was top three in rebounding. He is a better athlete than Gallo, better rebounder, smarter, gets fouled more, and can slash and finish with the best of them. His play so far in limited minutes has been outstanding.

If he gets to start and succeeds it will confirm the genius of Donnie Walsh for plucking this gem in the second round..
