Good afternoon everyone, I'm sure you are all as excited as I am now that the season has officially started. I'll get right to the point...I am very interested to see the splits on the steals Toney Douglas gets throughout the year. As far as I know there is no statistic that keeps track of steals on passes vs stealing the ball from the opposing player while he is dribbling. If I am wrong about this, correct me, disregard this post, and show me where to find it.
Those of us who have watched Douglas grow as a player throughout the summer league and pre season know he is capable of putting up some gaudy steal numbers. Unfortunately I am going to miss some of the game tonight because I will be playing in a game of my own at 9.
If anyone is watching tonight and happens to notice how (if) he steals the ball, please post it along with the in game time that it happens (ex: 2nd quarter, 7:12 remaining). I realize this is tedious, nerdy, and maybe even irrelevant, but my curiosity has gotten the better of me, and I think it would be a cool thing to keep track of.
