So I was checking the P&T fantasy league and I noticed a quote from Wilson Chandler on yahoo regarding him not getting a contract extension before the deadline:

"I spent most of my life with no money, so (to wait) a year won't be hard to deal with. Whatever I get will be better than what I have."

—Wilson Chandler, on not getting a contract extension by Monday's deadline, which would mean he'd become a restricted free agent in the offseason.

 

I really hope his contract not getting extended was not done in order to use him as a trade asset. It seems like we won't be resigning Chandler and will make a push at Melo in free agency. I really hope we can end this season without losing Chandler, he can be an all-star in a year or two.
