we all keep battling about lineups, matchups, systems, trades and talent... but given HOW we've been losing games, FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS, it seems MSG has become the NBA's version of fenway park where the players who step foot in the yard immediately become afraid of losing... so they keep losing.
we've got the talent to get good, big leads... but not the heads to keep those leads.
we've got the talent to fight back from big deficits... but not the heads to finish the come back.
yeah, gallo is one dimensional at best, randolph has bad hands and needs to hit the juice, TD is a good combo guard, but not a PG, amare misses his boy toy nash, turiaf expires after 20, will is a shooting sociopath with no conscience and felton can't shake his larry brownitis...
but we could... and should be better than what we've shown... which is why we need to find the NBA's version of terry francona (with all apologies for complimenting anything boston). somebody to exorcise the demons (of isaiah, marbury, jerome, layden, dolan, vin baker and the rest).
any ideas?
