when we first got STAT instead of Lebron and the rest, everyone talked about him as if he were just a talent who only collected stats because of nash... and that he couldn't lead and couldn't win in crunch time.  

but NOW, after todays game, i'm hoping the melo lovers of the world are recognizing what melo really is... a stat guy who can score and grab meaningless boards, but lacks those intangibles that put his teams over the top. 

... while we have our guy... i mean, our guys.

felton and stat together, with a supporting cast of shooters, slashers and glue guys... is a team that can compete against anyone.  while we may not be championship caliber yet, we're getting there... 

and all we should hope for is that we don't pollute our TEAM with me-first players like melo... a glorified chucker in the mold of al "buckets" harrington. 

i say keep as many of our guys as we can, turn the expendables into a deeper bench... AND LEAVE MELO OUT OF OUR HOUSE!

c'mon people... let the melo dream go! we're only a backup PG (ford) and PF/C (camby) away (though iggy wouldn't be a bad addition)
