Yes, I know many feel he is a "bitch" and he "sucks" but he is a "young" and "pretty good" "point guard." I'm going to stop using "quotes" and get to the "heart of my question."
Do the T-wolves still have his rights? Are they willing to trade him? What do they want for him? Would he be willing to play in NY? Would he fit with Pringles' offense? Should I go make myself a grilled cheese?
So many questions...
Also just a side-note, I am converted. I want Melo. I want him now and am willing to give up what we need to. (Not necessarily everything on the team, but I am willing to make a strong push of maybe will, DWTDD, picks, and maybe Randolph too. Yes I want him a lot) Basically there are two things that have changed in the way I look at this. I subscribed to the "we're already a top offensive team, we need defense" mentality. I recently have realized that it isn't as if we stop improving our ability to win game after becoming the best offensive team in the nation. Basically I came to the very basic conclusion that leading the league by 5 points in scoring average is better than by .5 points. I know this is pretty obvious, but I was very concerned with having a balance between O and D when that isn't really necessary. The other thing that has changed my mind is reading from a number of sources that Melo wants to sign his extension very badly and would be willing to go to a second choice team to do so. It makes sense that he wants to secure his money, but I just hadn't heard many people saying that it was a concern for him. Now that I have heard that he does care I feel more pressure to make a move.
Damn. This turned into a Melo post. Oh well. Hopefully that last paragraph doesn't distract too much from any information on Rubio.
