Hey, Knicks fans. As some of you may know, there has been a lot of talk of Carmelo Anthony possibly going to the Knicks! (/sarcasm) In an attempt to see what I could get for Melo, I created what I think is a pretty fair trade for all teams involved. I'm thinking I may be a little biased as a Nuggets fan, so I wanted to ask for the opinions of you guys as to whether or not you guys think this is a fair deal:

Why Knicks do it:
They get Melo, furthering their efforts for the elusive NBA Championship by fulfilling the unwritten "two-star" requirement, as well as building a true marquee team which would put even more asses in the seats, helping the franchise as a whole.
Why Charlotte does it:
They get a solid backup in Wilson Chandler, plus they get a young JR Smith whose athletic play-style would fit perfectly with Paul Silas new run-and-gun system (apparently, they've been practicing with a 14 second shot clock).
Also, if this fails for them, JR Smith and Chandler's contracts come off the books this year in case MJ decides he wants to go the rebuilding route.
Why Denver does it:
Lack of options. If they don't act on something, they run the risk of Melo walking and gain nothing. Gerald Wallace is a great replacement for Melo and also gives more of a defensive presence. Denver also gets another sharpshooter and solid role player in Danilo Gallinari, and finally get that 7-foot, albeit not out of this world, player we've all been asking for in Eddy Curry! Also, if this is a failed experiment, K-mart and Curry's contracts coming off the books will give us some much needed freedom in the free agency.
So what do you guys think?
