Steph Curry is good
In this last year's draft, we really missed out on a stud.
As everyone has probably seen by now, Stephen Curry continued his hot play as the fresh faced guard recorded his first Triple Double last night for the Warriors. We missed this guy by one stinking pick. D'Antoni was on his nuts. My man Allan Houston said that Curry, if drafted by the Knicks, would have gone down as the best shooter in Knicks history. It's not only his shooting prowess. The guy is a play maker....droppin dimes all over the place. This kid truly is dynamite and watching him light up the Western Conference is only darkening the black cloud over Madison Square Garden this season. Meanwhile, Jordan Hill, who could end up being a very good player, isn't even getting a shot. Ouch. Regardless, our bad luck seems to continue as we truly missed out on a potential superstar player. Kinda makes ya think what could have been?

I'd feel real good
about a future lineup of Curry, Chandler, Gallo, Lee and any unnamed person (Curry’s Boy – LBJ comes to mind)
What if
getting him required us to trade Chandler and the 8 pick to Washington for the 5 pick? Would you have done it, looking back now?
I’d take Curry over Hill now but Curry over Chandler and Hill? Maybe.
Yes

We would be stupid
to trade Chandler for a spot 3 ranks up in the lottery. We would have to get something in return.
I'm gonna be the only A-hole that owns a Nic Batum jersey that doesn't live in France. Awesome.
It's not as clear cut that way
Straight up – Curry over Hill – No Doubt.
But Chandler and Hill – that’s a little more iffy – probably leaning towards No.

I think that Walsh agreed with you there.
I didn’t see many Knick games last year and I thought it made sense before the draft to use Chandler to move up to the 5 spot. But now that I’ve seen Chandler play a bit, I think he’s a really good piece. We still don’t know what kind of player Hill will be or what Curry’s ceiling is, or even what Chandler’s ceiling is.
Everybody knew
from day 1 that we wanted Steph Curry. And we STILL want Steph Curry. I’m not surprised.

Curry is definitely good
and he was clearly well suited for the NBA with his fathers help. I dont think he will be a superstar though. I beleive part of his success is playing in Golden State, but yeah, he is a deadly shooter with other skills.
Yeah, we would have definitely taken him if he fell, but we made the mistake of publicly commenting him, and Golden State never said a word and instead built up that they were taking Hill. Oldest trick in the book.
I still dont know if I would have swapped PLUS the #8 pick. Its easy to look back now, but at the time, that was a big package to give up, considering the draft being as deep as it was. We didn’t necessarily pass him up, so wondering about this stuff is no different than dreaming of drafting Blake Griffin or Greg Oden last year.

Curry is soft
It is way too premature to be annointing him a star in the league. I think he is a soft player and, ultimately, this will come out. He is probably fortunate to have been drafted by a west coast team. Put him in the east and I’m not sure he could withstand the physical play.
