NBA JAM 2010

In case you weren't aware, NBA JAM is coming back for the Wii. You can vote online for which 3 players will represent their respective teams. Sadly, voting for the Knicks has passed. The "experts" both picked Danilo Gallinari and Al Harrington. One had David Lee and the other had Nate Robinson to finish the roster. Which guys would you want on your NBA JAM team? Remember, it's the best team designed for NBA JAM, so go for more exciting players.

3 players?

didn’t the old games have like 4 or 5?

i think chandler would be a good addition, and definitely lee since he’s the best player. and i would want nate over al for the dunks.

either way i’m probably buying this the day it comes out.

original yes... not TE

“An update named NBA Jam Tournament Edition (commonly referred to as NBA Jam T.E.) featured updated rosters, new features and easter eggs combined with the same gameplay of the original. Teams now consisted of three to five players and players could be substituted into the game. The game also featured new hidden teams and hidden playable characters. "

that, and also

i consider NBA Hangtime and NBA Showtime part of the NBA Jam lineage, and those games had a ton of players (some teams in Showtime had 7!).

7?

wow that seems like a lot. i think anthony tolliver would make the warriors team.

i would go with

Gallo
Chandler
Nate

Nate because the dunks they can make him do would be beyond awesome.

Chandler is a better version of Herringbone. (I just typed in Harrington, and that is what it gave me for spell check. From now on I am calling Harrington Herringbone)

I left off DLee

because he would get so abused on D that it wouldnt make up for his +O…. hmm…

by gbaked on Feb 3, 2010 10:25 AM EST up reply actions

For marketing purposes, you have to have David Lee

NBA Jam was never about defense anyways…

Gallo
Lee
Nate Robinson

Easy choices.

true

plus, they can put a special cheat in where after every play DLee complains to the refs.

so

the argument for lee in favor of wilchan is not about skill, but rather marketability?

by enron4515 on Feb 4, 2010 5:06 PM EST reply actions

NBA Jam isn't about skill

But if you only have 3 guys from each team, why wouldn’t you at least use the 2 most recognizable Knicks… Nate Robinson and David Lee?
Who outside of NY fans know about Wilson Chandler?

gallo and lee

the only 2 knicks that the world cares about…nate wont last until the end of the season, so that would be stupid

A little late but...

You can’t have a basketball game without Nate Robinson. He’s definitely on there. Gallo leads the league in 3s. Can’t leave him out. Then David Lee is basically our best player, and was closest to being an all star, so I don’t want to leave him out either. I kind of feel like Harrington won’t see next season anyway. As far as Chandler, thats how the cookie crumbles.
