Game Thread: Knicks vs. Bucks- 2/22/10
Milwaukee Bucks at New York Knicks, Feb 22, 2010 7:30 PM EST
"My style? I like to play in transition, pick&rolls, get in the paint and see who's open", Sergio Rodriguez, #Knicks STARTING PG.
BOO-YAH. That was quick. Sergio vs. Brandon Jennings should be a splendid match-up. Just don't blink.
Also, it's Legends Night. Let's get 'em Knicks.

duhon
What are people’s thoughts on his minutes tonight? Praying for 0, but assuming it’ll be like 15.
Keys of the game:
-Lee staying out of foul trouble/ably defending Bogut
-Rodriguez holding Jennings to 40% from the floor
-McGrady scoring 13 points for every 35 seconds he’s on the floor.
Jennings shoots 40% almost always
just a note. It will be less of Serge holding him and more of Jennings just hopefully not exploding.
btw
when was the last night you genuinely liked everyone in the knicks starting lineup? ’00 championship run?

i also think that over the final thirty games, we need to take a hard look at gallinari – and potentially re-assess our value of him.
i.e. is he better than chandler? is he a better long-term piece than t-mac? is he hurt? is he more of a mismatch detriment than a mismatch plus?
thinking the same way. Showing no progress at all

Is Gallo and Chandler's inconsistant play...
them or D’antoni’s inability to use them right? Just putting it out there.
their both 21 and 22... and both of them just recently got chances to improve
chandler wasnt in the lineup until last year, and gallo only played 28 games with an injured back, not to mention the team in the beginning of the year wasnt much of a team

I'm liking this.
We don’t have a center, and we’re missing some shots, but they’re open shots and having a fun somewhat effective point guard is great.
Gallo
I feel like since the t-mac has gotten here, gallo and wilson have just looked to pass instead of being aggressive and looking for their shot. Wat do you guys think?
i was worried about that

when we drafted gallo
all the naysayers and boo-birds said we should have drafted jerryd bayless instead. Have you guys watched him at all? he’s been on national tv several times, and from what i’ve seen, he’s atrocious
i think skip bayless is better, just saying

I wouldnt even
give it all to the new additions, just the impact they will have after the season. Imagine what it will be like after the finals? It’ll be insane and understandably so

yeah, is it not too late to sign a free agent or a d-league player
and honestly it was dumb to not be playing darko from the get go, he’s out of shape and put up 8 pts 8 boards in the last game
If Lee were mic'd up tonight
hopeless sighs, some “c’mon, really??” and a whole bunch “okay, I’ll do it then”
seriously house?
i didnt realize he shot just as much even when he’s not on fire
T-Mac looks looks like he's damaged goods

still needs work
we’ll see who develops as the season winds down. playoffs? PLAYOFFS?! forget about it
I've been watching Sergio's games since his debut in Spain's ACB
and I can tell no knick expects his passes, he sees them but they start moving 1/2 a second before they get the pass, so they aren’t at the right spot when they get the pass.
Nobody expects a Spanish Acquisition!
damn

Just how rough? Take a look at this
Bucks could have scored FOUR points in the ENTIRE 4th quarter
And won.
cant we get a center from the dleague
Or get eddy currys fat ass on the court? The past two games opposing big men have been killing us…bogut looked like shaq 2nite!
Anybody see tmac’s step back 3?..

Bogut and King Moute almost outrebouded the entire Knick team.
Bogut’s tall…but why Moute?
Its not height. Its players that can and know how to board. Lee’s the only one on the team.
And yes, Fucking Darko had 8pts and 8 boards in his debut. So he has a pulse.

thers got to be something done
about eddy curry not playing..
im no fan of curry.. at all really.. he had 1 good half a season where he was starting to beast with scoringin the paint..b
but hes our ONLY BIG!! get him in the game.. we lost hill and jeffries.. its obvious we need size.. look at what happened to us tonight against bogut…(bogut is good, but not that good)
agreed, but...
he’s injured. does anyone else find it a bit odd that Nate Robinson gets to experience a winning environment before D-Lee, Chandler and Gallo do? and to make it worse, it’s with the friggin Celtics! its all good though, maybe he’ll wreak havoc to that team in the same vein as Starbury did.
People are failing to notice the huge positive about tonight
Duhon didn’t play, Duhon didn’t play, Duhon didn’t play.
