Evening, dads. It's the Knicks and Celtics in Boston tonight. New Knick gunslinger Eddie House will be making his return to the (other) Garden, while our old friend Nate Robinson will suit up in green and white for the first time. Speaking of which, I've thought quite a bit since Thursday about giving Nate a fitting tribute and farewell, and just haven't really had it in me yet. Nate's an incredible talent and a guy who was relentlessly upbeat through every strange twist of his journey in New York, and I would like to commemorate his Knick career at some point. For now, look no further than Bandwagon Knick, where you can find an absolute gem of a tribute to the lilliputian.
I don't know that I have much more to say that isn't said by BK, but I'll keep mulling it over. For what it's worth, I'm pretty positive that Nate is going to light the Knicks up tonight. It won't upset me too much. Nothing Nate's said about the whole ordeal bothers me too much either. I'm really happy that the little dude has a chance to prove his worth on a contending team.
In other news, Paul Pierce will not play, which seems fair, since Eddy Curry won't play either.
For now, get comfortable, listen to some Electric Mayhem (one of my favorite songs from one of my all-time favorite movies), and pray the Knicks look better against the Celtics than they did last night.

I think he was like 20 years old going to K-State cuz he was injured a ton in high school.

Rondo is an overrated defender
sure he gets a lot of steals, but that’s because he tries to jump every pass. He’s no a great 1 on 1 defender. Obviously, we know all about Nate’s d as well.

dude doesnt play good defense. its not hard to put up a lot of points on a shitty team and it isnt hard to grab a lot of rebounds when you play with a roster full of shooting guards and small forwards.

D lee isnt as bad as a defender as most say… and its DEFINATELY not a lack of effort.. i believe if lee had a mentor like charles oakley.. hed be just like oak was… neither were athletically gifted.. oakley wasnt a shotblocker either.. but he was a great defender… i believe with the right mechanics and fundamentals.. lee can transform into a good defender..
he’s shown he has the ability to learn and upgrade his game offensively. so theres no reason for him not to be able to change his game at the other end.
