Some Crazy Demon Coach Stuff
From Yahoo Sports ( think):
League executives say between now and then Brown is determined to move point guard D.J. Augustin(notes) for a veteran big man. Michael Jordan and Rod Higgins wanted to draft Brook Lopez(notes) with the ninth pick in 2008, but Brown demanded they pass on the center for Augustin. Bobcats management had gone so far to tell Lopez’s agents they were picking him.
Larry Brown is cra-a-a-a-zy.... crazy enough to consider Eddy Curry a veteran big man? Probably not that crazy.

They wanted Lopez, huh?
Well, like a great 18th century poet once said…
If you like it then you should have put a ring on it.

not crazy at all
for d-c at least. he always decides that he needs a new guy (especially at the PG spot since he’s a control freak) and then when they don’t play up to his expectations, he ships them out for the promise a new guy brings.
by the way…i still think that d-c’s coaching & armchair GM’ing is running the Bobcats into the ground. even though they are a playoff team. i’m very confident in this. of course, no one will believe me when they upset the Celtics in the first round. but this team is just spinning its wheels.

Is there any way they could want Curry and Jeffires?
or is that getting carried away?
What’s Tyson Chandler’s contract at?
Rectum? Damn near killed em!
that would be nice
but given that the Bobcats are in a financial free fall, and that Citizen Larry has already had the please of Eddy and Jared on his teams…I would venture to say they would NOT prefer to add such contracts to their payroll. High payroll is what made them ship out Okafor for Chandler. They knew Chandler was an injury risk and not as reliable.

Keep in mind here folks
That Larry Brown is NOT the GM, and the GM and owner are probably not at stupid as Isiah and Dolan were.
So, despite the fact that Larry Brown would probably trade Eddy Curry for DJ Augustin, I don’t think anyone will listen to him.
