The only good thing about Al Harrington...

While commenting on tonight's game, I said someone should make a site called heyalharringtonstoptakingbadshots.com....well, I did it.

Not exactly sure about the design, or what content I want to put on it. Maybe I should make other sites like...heychrisduhonridethebenchforever.com, eddycurrylostweightbutstillcantplay.com. I'm thinking an add-on blog for P&T, some personal ramblings, and just general debauchery.

If anyone has any suggestions for what should be on it, can help with the design, or anything like that, let me know

If I was Donnie walsh

I would trade Al Harrington for Yinka Dare’s ashes and God Shammgod’s shoe laces.

I would also make a website promoting the idea

god's laces might keep him from falling down all the time.

he already has hands of stinka.

i think

there should be a poorly photoshopped picture of al harrington with an ugly penis on his skull.

implying that he is a dickhead.

I loathe the Shit Demon

Why do i look at Popivich with a arm around a player talking with 2 minutes left, and get jealous?

I think Al

actually is a decent fellow who tries to win the game, even now. But I don’t think he’s capable of doing enough out there to consistently help the team win. When he shoots efficiently, he helps, but he often doesn’t. If he shoots 1-7 from three, it’s a killer because he’s not going to add a lot in the rebounding, defense, or passing departments. I think he’s trying but he’s just not that great a basketball player. He has intriguing skills for a guy that’s 6’9" 250… but he doesn’t really make great use of his size.

I think the guy’s been a good team player and he’s put forth effort but he’s just not a great basketball player and I’m looking forward to him moving on.

PLEASE Donnie.. no matter how much he begs or how little he asks for… DON’T re-sign him. Just wish him well and let the Clippers sign him.

he's a ball stopper

it takes the entire team out of rhythm, and worse, it helps the opposing team’s defense to sync up. thusly- not a good teammate. good guy, maybe. good teammate? no chance.

I dont know....

I think Al has always been Al. He was that way on pretty much every team that he has played for. It actually allowed him to make a name for himself. Shame on the knicks for signing him. Granted its very fun to make fun of how terrible he can be at times. but I dont wanna write him death threats based on what he lacks as a team player.

he was part of the Crawford trade, so really the point was merely to get an expiring contract in 2010, vs 2011.

Al’s probably a good dude. But he’s a black hole in the offense, once the ball goes to him 90% of the time he’s chucking or he’s ducking to the basket.

And he’s a good athlete who seems to semi-understand the game…yet, he can’t box out for his life or grab a rebound…even tho he’s 6"9 250.

That's the thing that drives me crazy about Al.

On offense, he has all the tools to be a very productive scorer. He could be Rashard Lewis if he wasn’t so stupid. When Al picks and chooses his spots, he can be deadly, and we see it at times, but like you said, most of the time he touches the ball and never relinquishes it. When Al takes a rhythm 3 pointer that he can step into he is on point. When Al has a one on one matchup with almost anybody on the perimeter, he can usually beat them and get to the rack. But instead he just shoots every time, and drives when it isn’t there, if he was a smart player he could be a 20/6 guy who shot 40 percent from 3, and do it in the rhythm of the offense, not by taking the rest of the team out of the game and shooting every single time.
