Postgame: Knicks 92, Sixers 88

Now that was exciting. Danilo Gallinari (25 points) played the part of aggressive cock and led the way early, and the one-two punch of Toney Douglas (24) and Bill Walker (15) defended brilliantly and hit big shot after big shot to seal the victory. Exactly what you like to see at this time of year.

Recap will probably come tomorrow.

Yeah/Won

No real real impact from D.Lee and we get two victories.
We even did not have W.Chandler and still won.
Congratulations Knicks!
Now next year please make that Sign& Trade with Phoenix.
(D.Lee/E.Curry/A.Stoudemire)

2010 Knicks Starting Lineup
PG/T.Douglas
SG/J.Johnson F/A
SF/W.Chandler
PF/A.Stoudemire Sign&Trade

2010 Knicks Solid Bench Rotation
PG/S.Rodriquez
SG/B.Walker
SF/T.McGrady
PF/D.Gallinari

Now if we can only pull together some creative 2010 draft scenarios to get true centers.
(C.Aldrich/Kansas & D.Pittman/Texas)

Aldrich is a pipe dream

No way the Knicks have the assets to pull off a trade for a pick that high, methinks. Pittman will likely be available but I don’t know that he’s good enough to play in the NBA. Worth a flyer with one of their picks but I think it’s unlikely he’ll be a long term really good NBA player, but you never know.

The Knicks have no first round pick

they are not getting Cole Aldrich…holy shit.

I got here, that your a Nets fan….so uhh…yea.

David Lee is not a Center. Get David Center, See David get better. And the Nets ain’t getting Lee either.

Knicks/Nets

Do not want D.Lee with our Knicks or my Nets.
Overrated.
D.Pittman would be a good solid backup center in the NBA.
C.Aldrich is going to be a solid NBA starter when he plays with more talent around him.
The Knicks gave away future picks to get McGrady, so it is not to foolish to think they could give away money and a future pick to get Aldrich/Pittman now.
As a one-two punch at center they will do very well.
It takes two centers to win in the NBA.
Right now we have zero.
Do the math and you will see it makes sense to go after these two guys now.
Orlando: Howard/Gortat
Lakers: Bynum/Gasol
You need meat in the middle along with 4 players of talent on the outside to win.
Example:
Look at Atlanta, they are a very good team with no real centers in the middle to take of business.
Horford is a true PF but has to play center.
if we get the playes mentioned above and then add Aldrich/Pittman you now have the balance in the lineup to win.
Knicks: Douglas/Johnson/Chandler/Stoudemire to defend,score.
Aldrich/Pittman to rebound, set picks and chip in a few points based on fouls.
Scoring will not be needed from these bigs because of outside talent for scoring.
Rebounding an dkeeping out people from the paint is there job to do well.
When you rebound you win.
