Postgame: Knicks 109, Nuggets 104

In a high-intensity game with something of a playoff atmosphere, the Knicks weathered 36 points from Carmelo Anthony and made the big plays down the stretch to seal the victory. I don't get to say that a lot.

I need a post-game shower. Recap coming later tonight.

Came into the game at 14-4

and didn’t think I’d stay past half time but that was a lot of fun. The Garden sounded great, the game thread was great & now I have to calm down & get to bed as it is way late here. See you in the funny pages…

EST +5 hours is hard work sometimes...

to be honest.. he played pretty well

he didnt throw up too many ill advised shots.. he had a couple shit demon turnovers as usual and didnt really show up on the defensive end… but put points up when no other knick could in the second quarter

Toney does what the douglas do. And no one can do what he does b/c doing it without being Toney Douglas just doesnt make it do what it do

I was at the Electric Garden tonight and it did not disappoint. My seats aren’t far from where DWTDD puts his dad and I got to high-five him after that last-minute jumper.

Two other observations:

That Punk Carmelo Anthony (“TPCA”) was talking crap on The Cock the whole second half, but The Cock laughs last (“TCLL”).

That foul on DWTDD in the 4th quarter involved two Cowardly Nuggets hitting DWTDD on his noggin hard and audibly. But DWTDD didn’t even get knocked down. Unbelievable.

Sorry if these observations were in the Game Thread but I couldn’t go through all 500 comments, as entertaining as I have no doubt that they are.
