Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Bill Walker

-This kid is obviously a keeper, with subsequent team options the next two years. You would be hard pressed to find a comparable player for 800k (?). Also, he's a natural 2-guard, which we don't have on our roster.

-So, he's shown he has some flash...now, it's all about consistency and staying healthy.

-Do any of you see a little John Starks in him?

-Did anybody see his post game interview with Tina Cervasio? Every single sentence ended with "man", while Tina (a woman) was standing there absolutely helpless. It was high and low comedy. Can someone find a link to the video?

Donnie gets dissed around the interwebs a lot

gold star pulling Walker from boston for nate.

I dont think I would trade him straight up for nate, already. Hopefully his knees hold up.

Is the Owl a knickname for Walker? I dont know why I think that fits.

I love me some Bill Walker

I hope some day I can like him as much as I liked/loved John Starks.

If he can shoot like John Starks

Then I agree he could be as exciting as John Starks, maybe even better. Lets all hope he never has game 7 against Houston “like” performance though. J/K John, your still my 1a with Ewing.

he's a keeper

if im not mistaken, we can pick up his 2yr option for dirt cheap..definately keep him around, especially if we get two max guys, the remainder of the team will be walk-ins off the street

Talent

Bill Walker is a talent from West Virgina.
All players that come out of West Virgina come o the NBA with a solid work effort to excel.
This guy is no different. He played with O.J.Mayo in school.
West Virgina Talented Hard Noise Guards
Ah. J.West, R.Thorn, M.D’Antoni, O.J.Mayo & B.Walker

Not a bad group I might say.
Next year he could be our solid two guard off the bench.
