But it's making my mouth water. And I'm ready to talk about it.
So far, he's only been referred to as HWSNBN. But after tonight's loss to the Celtics, and the ever so apparent and almost inevitable meltdown by Mike Brown and the rest of the
New Jersey Nets Cleveland Cavaliers, Lebron has some serious thinking to do. And damn, he looks good in that jersey.
The thing is, with my last write up I did, I never once mentioned him as a serious possibility. But that was three weeks ago. The Cavs were steamrolling Chicago. But now, his teammates are crumbling. He's back to where he was in the 07 finals. Practically going 1 on 5 against Boston's formidable defense.
I'm already assuming that Boston will beat Cleveland in the next few days. They're playing better than Cleveland. Rondo is abusing them. The Big Three are coalescing. Even Glen Davis is playing well. The rest of the Cavs just don't have it. They don't care. They're not talented. The MVP can not carry this team anymore. He's done it for 90+ games this season.
I can't accurately say that he'll come to New York. But the reasons for him to leave are piling up. And the Knicks are the prime suitors. I'll throw this out there, with no explanation. But it sounds good to me.
SF: Lebron James/Bill Walker
Donnie Walsh hasn't put all of his eggs in this year's basket. There is still reason for him to not spend everything this year, try to land one guy and wait for 2011. But if Lebron opts out, he has to be the prime target. And he's worth every penny of the millions we'll offer.
