Wilson Chandler Arrested For Misdemeanor Marijuana Possession

PrintFrom The Daily News, Wilson Chandler got himself into a bit of mischief last night:
Knicks forward Wilson Chandler was busted in Queens last night with a joint and five bags of pot, police sources Wednesday.
The tattooed-covered rising star was pulled over in his 2010 Mercedes-Benz was on 94th Ave. and 213th St. at 11:30 p.m. for driving with his headlights off.
"When they approached the vehicle, they smelled...and observed smoke," a source said of the arresting officers.
They found the pot in the trunk, sources said.
Chandler, who had a 22-year-old passenger, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana. He was given a desk appearance ticket.
First of all, "tattoo-covered"? Really? That's relevant? Second of all, buns for Wilson. Not an ideal start to the summer.

dumbest asses on the face of the planet. What do these athletes do, trade brains for athletic ability? You are out late at night; driving a high priced top-end car; with the lights off; smoking pot; with more pot in the trunk? Why not walk into a Polce station and deck a cop? This is worser than Plaxico shooting himself in the leg. I just don’t understand the magnitude of stupidity when it comes to athletes.Its occurances such as this that reveals the high probabilty that these guys didn’t work their way through school but were actually given a pass because of thier athletic ability. When I smoke, I stay in the house or on the roof. Just safer that way.

I agree that its amazing how some athletes/celebrities put themselves in such ridiculous situations
You cant possibly tell me that Wilson thought he would be ok to drive in a car full of smoke, late at night and with the headlights off (which he prob had no idea about).
It’s like these guys are oblivious to the law almost entirely.
But “worser than Plaxico”??!! I GOTTA hear your justification behind this. Cus that statement alone makes me instantly question everything you previously posted and every post you will make in the future.

the cops are thirsty mother f’s
they pull over people for lotsa dumb reasons and the place where will got stopped aint exactly a good neighborhood.
i smoke weed in the car and that doesnt make me stupid.
sometimes its just bad luck. and you guys might be surprised that marijuana gets you locked up but that is the truth. in queens the cops go hard. they go hard for tickets. they go hard for busts.

Smoking pot while driving a car late at night with the headlights out in Queens is. I smoke in the car after I reach my destination. Wilson must have been soking some good Sh%t because if he forgot to turn the headlights on then that is a testament to the weed quality. Yes he was “totally lifted.” Still dumb though. Didn’t get caught up in Queens too?

The story leaves out a vital part
A passenger in the front seat, Lamonte Yarbrough, admitted to the officers he had been smoking pot, police said.
So Chill Wil may not have even been smoking the Pot, but was stupid enough to let his boy smoke in the ride. which actually may be worse. If you are gonna get busted for smoking Pot you should at least have the pleasure of smoking pot first.

that was probbly one of his boys from around the way and he was his weed carrier…Wil fucked up by gettin booked but I guarantee his boy is taking all the blame…every celeb gotta have one of those peoples around that will take the rap for some bs like this..
you can pretty much guarantee that Wil was burnin it down cuz he didnt realize his lights were off and he was in Queens probbly pickin up that work…same shit happened to one of my cousins…he got high as fuck and didnt realize he didnt turn his lights on and got a ticket for failure to maintain lights.
on another note…i think im gunna hold off on purchasing that Gallo jersey and ima have to cop iLL wiLLs jersey…right after i pick up a Darryl Strawberry and LT jersey
