In Greek and Spanish media it was announced by Spanoulis and his agent that he has been given contract offers from several NBA teams and that he will most likely play in the NBA next year. Spanoulis said that is his wish and what he wants.

The only hold up is that he is being offered a huge contract by Real Madrid ($9-$10 million a year) and so he might have to take that and not return to the NBA. Those are his only two decisions he wants. Either the NBA or Real Madrid. However Spanoulis said that even with that huge contract offer from Real Madrid his first choice remains returning to the NBA.

He has been offered the full MLE and starting point guard position by "several" NBA teams. Just giving a heads up for Knicks fans, since one of your scouts has been watching him several times this year.
