can we just up and take some first rounders? do you trade what few assets you have to get a couple, two, three? i just read an article. even though i should stop reading about basketball altogether. but basically the article says the knicks should go after as many first rounders as we can get. buy 'em up! collect the assets, and if we can't take the cap hit on account of someone special wanting to sign with us, renounce the rooks! it could turn out to be that some guy we picked and subsequently renounced with the........ 23rd (??!?!) pick ends up being a hell of a player. but, oh well, because we got someone who is established and ready to win. right?
