Kevin Pritchard?
There's been a lot of chat that Donnie Walsh has been in search of GM. What about Pritchard? This guy turned around the Blazers through a combination of savvy trades and drafts, and by all accounts is one of the smartest, most capable prospects out there. Donnie could bring him on board and make Allan Houston his official assistant GM, since there's all that chatter about Donnie's grooming of Houston.
What do we think? Possible? Good idea?

Absolutely.
I have no idea why this guy got fired, but this dude is a damn good drafter. I’ve always thought of him up there with Morey in Houston, RC Buford with the Spurs and Presti now with the Thunder.
What the hell he did, I dunno. But the owner Allen is an idiot to fire this guy if its cuz of the Oden over Durant thing, 9/10 GM’s to the same thing…hindsight is always right so don’t be a dummy.
KEEP LEE!!!
Ok..brain freeze
what is DW’s position now? I know he as a hip issue..but he jus got on the job and has dug us from 6ft deep to surface level with our cap/isaiah situation. Is he looking to be replaced?
Toney does what the douglas do. And no one can do what he does b/c doing it without being Toney Douglas just doesnt make it do what it do
donnie is the president of operations, a GM would be something of a sidekick/underling for him to work with and take some of the workload
sorry meant to hit reply on that semsemma

Walsh bringing in Pritchard would be wonderful
Seems like everyone is questioning the Blazers over canning him. They always have a lot of draft picks too and Pritchard really seems to have a gameplan.
I would absolutely welcome him. Does anyone know of any other NBA teams in need of a GM other than NY? Clippers, right? That would seemingly put our chances as very good??

He was TECHNICALLY fired 24 hours ago
But its been at least a month since the Blazers have been caught headhunting for his replacement. Pritchard knew his fate just like Del Negro knew long ago he was gonna get canned.

DW needs to bring in Kev
scrap this Mullin / Houston crap….you can make them assistants (to the GM)
Actually if he brings in Pritchard it will probably be to tutor Houston
Dolan really wants Houston to be GM one day, but Donnie does not think he is ready, that is why he was looking for a seasoned GM to show Houston the ropes, and when Donnie leaves that Guy would become Knick President and Houston the GM. So Pritchard would be a good hire, he could tutor Houston and he could take over when Donnie leaves.
