I touched on this in another thread, but I really believe all of this LBJ groveling is hurting teams as far as bringing in free agents. Imagine you are D Wade, or Bosh, or JJ. Amare even. You're watching every team with max cap space basically offer their first born for LBJ's services. Now we all know only one team can have LBJ. So for every team that misses out, how do you make a serious pitch to one of the other superstars (assuming none of them follow LBJ?) They already know they were a backup plan for one. Its insulting and demeaning in a way. ESPECIALLY for Wade, who has a ring and Finals MVP on his resume, 2 things LBJ doesnt. He is a phenom, no doubt, but the way teams are acting is not helping endear them to the other top tier free agents. Does anyone agree? Disagree? Wish I would go away? Wish LBJ would go away?
